Ugandans embrace Joshua Cheptegei setting new world record for the 10,000m

Its just another bundle of joy heaped to Ugandans by their own Golden 24year-old boy, Joshua Kiprui Cheptegei as smashes another World Record in world athletics fraternity.
On Wednesday, Joshua broke Kenenisa Bekele’s 15-year-old record in the 10000m race.
Cheptegei, 24, clocked 26 minutes 11.00 seconds beating Bekele’s record time by more than six seconds.
He achieved the feats at the NN Valencia World Record Day, a one-off event taking place in the Spanish city, Valencia.
The World Record Day, in which Cheptegei had pacemakers, took place at Valencia’s Turia stadium with 400 people. including sponsors, journalists and staff were allowed in because of COVID-19 protocols in Spain.
